My Favourite Recipes Book

Today I would like to show you My Favourite  Recipes Book which I made a little while ago. The album itself has been cut from 3mm craftwood (MDF), the edges painted and the pages covered with patterned paper then decorated. Each page shows a photo and instructions for a favourite family recipe. I have also inserted a clear acetate sheet to protect each page so that it is a working recipe book.
 A bit of a long post today but I hope you enjoy it.
I entered my album in the Royal Queensland Show and was awarded Best Exhibit in the Scrapbooking Section.

Craft Mad Monthly Swap

The theme for our monthly swap at Craft Mad was Bakers Twine. I must admit it is one of those things that sit in my craft room and don't often get used so this was the perfect opportunity. This is the first card that I will be sending to my partner. I started with a 4x6 white card, added a layer of  patterned paper, spellbinders scalloped oval.hand cut embellishments, buttons, charms , bakers twine and printed ribbon tape. Lego London

Something a little different today. My son and his wife gave me this Lego kit for my birthday. All the famous tourist attractions in London  I just love it and brought back great memories of a trip I did with  my husband some years back.
